How valuable is DCMTK?

In case you’ve ever asked yourself how valuable DCMTK is, then Ohloh has the answer: about 4.2 Million Dollar! In other words, it is estimated that it would take about 76 person years to write the more than 285,000 lines of code from scratch. — Would you have imagined that?
