DICOM Structured Reporting revisited
When I wrote the article on “DICOM Structured Reporting“, I mentioned that dedicated support for Templates and Context Groups is still missing in the DCMTK. This has changed recently, thanks to the sponsoring from the QIICR project.
Support for “Other Long” value representation
Today, I added support for the final text version of Supplement 181 (Tractography Results Storage SOP Class) to the DCMTK, i.e. the dcmdata module now fully supports the new value representation (VR) “Other Long” (OL) in the same manner as the other 30 previously introduced VRs.
Updated DCMRT (based on DICOM 2015c)

DCMTK updated after DICOM WG-06 meeting in November 2015
Last week, the DICOM Working Group 6 (WG-06) met again and approved various supplements and correction items (CPs) for “final text” or “draft final text – waiting for codes”. The previous meeting of WG-06 (Base Standard) was in September this year.
DICOM 2015c
Two days ago, the 2015c edition of the DICOM standard has been made available on the NEMA server. Compared to the previous edition from April this year, 2 supplements and 15 correction items (CPs) have been incorporated. The standard text now consists of 5,312 pages (PDF version).
